Kaan Taşkan Internet League starts today at 19:00 with group matches. According to the drawn performed at 22:00 on September 26 2020, Group A was formed as 9 teams, Group B 9 teams and Group C 10 teams.
Group matches will be held in the first round. According to the final lists formed after the group matches, the first three teams of each group will form the 1st league. According to the final ranking, 4th 5th and 6th teams will form the 2nd league. Remaining teams will form the 3rd league.
After the group matches, the second round to be played on October 4, 2020 will be played per these leagues.
There will be :
- 9 teams in the 1st league,
- 9 teams in the 2nd league,
- 10 teams in the 3rd league.
After each round, according to the ranking of the leagues, the last 3 teams of the 1st league will drop to the 2nd league and the last 3 teams of the 2nd league to the 3rd league. At the same time, the top 3 teams of the 2nd league will advance to the 1st league and the top 3 teams of the 3rd league to the 2nd league.
The team with the most championships in the 1st league after 9 rounds will be the Champion of the Kaan Taşkan Internet League.
The League will be played for 90 minutes on the lichess platform for 9 rounds, with the Team Battle Arena mode, with a 2 + 1-time pace. The 8 players who get the best individual scores of each team will form the team score and Lichess platform will calculate the ranking after 90 minutes, with these team scores.
During leagues berserk mode will be disabled. All the players are deemed to have accepted the lichess platform community rules.
Prior to or during the matches, the responsibility belongs to the relevant player in case of any technical problems arising from the player being unable to connect to the platform/match, interruption of the internet connection during the match, etc
